Gogglebox's Ellie Warner overwhelmed by fan support

Gogglebox fans have given their support to star Ellie Warner for a brave post sharing her secret talent.

Ellie flaunted her impressive art skills on Instagram and racket up over 18,000 likes with her Vincent Van Gogh style self portrait.

She has been entertaining the nation on telly with her sister Izzi since 2015 but it turns out she has a few lesser known talents.

In a painting she captured the likeness of herself and Izzy filming Gogglebox at their home from their chairs.

The star injected their personality and character into her painting as she painted the pair thinking about eating burgers, reports The Mirror.

She wrote: “Apparently it’s National Art Day today! So I’m sharing this what I painted for a charity raffle for the @cavell_nt in lockdown 1.0! I actually bought some more canvasses of Facebook market place (lol) as I thought about maybe starting another painting.

“Did it happen? No I might feel the urge again one day!

“My favourite artist is Van Gogh and I’m hoping to one day get to the Moma and see his starry night painting! Who’s your favourite artist?”

Naturally, Ellie’s followers flocked to comment on the artwork – with many seriously impressed by her ability.

One wrote: That’s actually so good.”

And another said: “I hope you carry on painting because its amazing. I like graffiti style artwork like Banksy and there was a child about 10 on the news and his drawings were amazing.”

And another branded it “decent”.

Wow this is great, you’re so talented!!” wrote Amir Khan, the GMB doctor.

“Love this,” said another.

“Brilliant,” added another.

“Van Gogh is my favourite too! The Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam is amazing and I totally recommend checking it out” said another.

Gogglebox airs each Friday night at 9pm on Channel 4 with episodes available to catch up with via the All 4 on demand streaming platform.
